Department of computer Science & Engineering is responsible for conducting B.Tech (Computer Science & Engineering) and M. Tech (Computer Science & Engineering) Course with intake of 120 B.Tech and 18 M.Tech students authorized by UP Technical University. The Department has excellent results and students are getting placements with reputed firms.

The Department has tie-ups with reputed IT companies like Microsoft, Infosys, IBM and CSC. There is Campus Agreement with Microsoft, Campus Connect tie up with Infosys, Mentorship from CSC and support of live projects from IBM. Many of the Students excell in entrance exams for higher education.

Faculty The Department has well qualified faculty, mostly with postgraduate degree from institutes of repute. The faculty has number of publications. Many of the the faculty members have industrial background that ensures a right mix of practical and theoretical knowledge being imparted to the students.
Laboratories The Department has ten computer labs equipped with state-of-the-art IBM Servers, Pentium-IV PCs mostly with latest Configuration. There exists a complete range of software including Rational Suite and Maya. All Desktops in the campus(785) are interconnected through LAN and Internet enabled using a bandwidth of 8Mbps. Using online UPS and 1250KVA captive power supply, the computing facilities are made available 24*7. Wi-Fi connectivity has been provided in the entire campus. The Laboratories are supported by well qualified staff.
Students Besides academic excellence, the students have been actively participating and securing top positions in the Inter-Departmental and Inter-Institutional technical competitions. Our team won the second prize in IBM's all India Competition 'The Great Mind Challenge 2009'. Each member of the team, including the Faculty mentor, recieved IBM ThinkPad Notebook, Trophy and certificates. Earlier, One student was awarded India Rank 1 and World Rank 28 in the 'Imagine' Cup 2007 conducted by Microsoft. Our Students got Second prize in the Programming Olympiad and Web Designing Contest Organized by JayPee Institution of Information Technology, Noida and HBTI, Kanpur respectively. Our Students have also been securing top positions in several events in Zealicon which is our Annual Technical Festival.

Sindri Work Experience : He has joined JSS Academy of Technical Education, Noida in September 2008 as Professor & Head of the Department after holding similar positions at two Engineering Colleges affiliated to UPTU. Besides teaching different courses at UG and PG Levels, he has worked extensively in the area of Real Time Embedded Software Development for airborne computing platform for aerospace application with DRDO labs and HAL.
